Exercise Library

Every exercise in Atlas comes with a clear explanation of what it works and how to do it — and it's all searchable in seconds.

What it is

The Exercise Library is the reference at the heart of Atlas: more than 1,500 distinct exercises, each with a plain-language guide covering the muscles it targets and how to perform it properly.

It's more than a list. Every exercise is tagged with the equipment it needs and the right way to measure it, so when you add a move to a routine or log it, Atlas already knows how it should be tracked.

What it does

Genuinely searchable

Search by name or filter by muscle group, equipment, or category to find the right move fast.

Explained, not assumed

Each entry tells you what it trains and how to do it — no prior knowledge required.

Equipment-tagged

Filter to only the exercises you can do with the gear you've got.

Correctly measured

Every exercise carries a tracking type, so a run is logged as distance and time, a plank as a hold, and a bench press as weight and reps — automatically.

Wired into everything

Add any exercise to a routine, drop it into a program, or log it on its own.

How it works

  1. 1

    Open the Library tab.

  2. 2

Search for an exercise, or filter by muscle, equipment, or category.

  3. 3

Open an exercise to read its guide and see how it's tracked.

  4. 4

Add it to a routine, or log it directly from the Library.

Good to know

  • Use the equipment filter when you're in a new or limited gym to see only what you can actually do.
  • Not sure what an exercise targets? The guide on each entry spells it out.
